Wildcat Film School - Camp Creative
Camp Creative
Goals and Rationale...
- Students will be challenged to think analytically and creatively, helping us live up to our mission statement and meet the academic standards of our community, the Ohio Core, and the Common Core.
- Camp Creatives will give educators a chance to deviate from our explicit curriculum, or dive deeply into some aspect of the curriculum, giving our teachers an outlet for creativity and a chance to get back to the roots of why we all went into education: to challenge kids to grow more than they realize is possible.
- Camp Creatives will allow students and teachers to explore some aspect of the discipline about which they are most passionate.

Description: Wildcat Film School will take students through the pre-production, production and postproduction stages of movie making. Roles such as producer, director, writer, artist, and editor will be discussed and chosen by students. Some may even want to tackle all the roles for their movie. As students work toward their goal of creating a movie, they will write a movie worthy script, create storyboards, learn film lingo, sound & camera techniques and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
We will use the iMedia supplies (cameras tripods etc) and software.
We will meet at NV iMedia room E22
Minimum-max number of students to run the workshop? 12-20? But we are flexible
